Noon to 1:30PM- Rally with thousands of local and national activists to send a clear message that oil drilling is not the right solution for energy. Activities include live music, t shirt screen printing, food, etc.

WHY: The 2007 Cosco Busan oil spill in the San Francisco Bay mobilized hundreds of Surfrider volunteers to participate in cleanup efforts, particularly at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. To avoid future disasters, Surfrider’s San Francisco Chapter is rallying members again to speak out about the risks of coastal oil drilling and to support alternatives that will be better for our oceans and the environment without contributing to global warming.
